Citect SCADA Web Server 8.10

Citect SCADA Web Server is a server-side component that publishes Citect/Plant SCADA projects to standard web browsers. It acts as a secure gateway between the SCADA runtime and thin clients, delivering project graphics and real-time data to remote users without requiring a full SCADA installation on their devices. The Web Server manages user sessions, security, and licensing while preserving the project’s native behavior and permissions.

Key capabilities:

• Browser-based access to HMI pages, real-time values, alarms/events, and project-defined trends, with optional control actions as allowed by user roles
• Centralized authentication and authorization (local users and directory integration), with role-based access and audit-friendly session handling
• Encrypted connectivity via HTTPS/TLS and configurable network ports to fit corporate security policies
• High availability options through redundancy and failover with multiple SCADA/Web Server nodes
• Scalable multi-session support for operators, engineers, and supervisors across local or remote networks

Notes:

• Requires a running Citect/Plant SCADA system and appropriate Web Client licenses
• Uses the SCADA server as the data source; it does not include field drivers on the Web Server itself
• Remote control should be enabled in accordance with site cybersecurity and operations policies
